The course provides rigorous training in Business Management encompassing areas such as General Management, Marketing, Human Resource Management, and Finance. The major emphasis is on contemporary issues affecting business and problem solving, such as management of change within an increasingly dynamic environment and the development of business skills across organizations and sectors.

Objective

• During the first year the student will develop an overview of business, its environment and management with essential skills and tools necessary for business life. This provides the foundations that prepare the students to take on more challenging advanced modules in the second and the third year of the degree programme.
• The advanced modules focus on a closer examination of the operations of business, particularly on the use and management of key resources, such as people, finance and information technology, from a strategic perspective.
• This course gives an option for one year supervised internship in the Industry during the third year.

• Successfully completed Year 12 of the Indian School System with an aggregate score of at least 50% (in best 4 subjects) in either the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) or ISCE (Indian School Certificate) or equivalent.

Or

• Successfully completed a qualification that has been proposed by the IIMT Committee for Credit Rating, and approved by the Business School for admission with credit into the Programmes.

  And

• Successfully passed the English language placement test at his/her interview with IIMT.

• Met any specific requirements for each Programme.

Course Details

In addition to the courses as offered in the three-year programme, this course gives an option for one year supervised internship in the Industry. This internship is during the third year of the degree programme. The emphasis during the internship is on the development of skills needed in dealing with people, problem and policies of corporations, and preparing for the world of work.

After completion of the internship the students are required to complete a set of advanced modules to enable them to develop a better understanding of the business operations before they graduate.

The programmes listed above are internationally recognized degree programmes for employment and higher studies. However, as of now these programmes do not fall under the purview of the AICTE, UGC or State governments in India.   more details.....
