Undergraduate Industrial Internship Overview
The School of Management
and Entrepreneurship in collaboration with industry
offers an Industrial Internship Programme designed
to complement the school's academic curriculum with
practical industry experience. The Internship
programmes is applicable only to the BBA (Hons) - 4
year Sandwich Full time programme.
SWE Highlights
Unlike the traditional
summer training program that typically involves
two-month work training, the industrial internship
Programme is one continuous 12 month work term.

Corporations choose the most suitable student
for their organization through their own
recruitment procedure.

The
Industrial Internship Programme has been established
to provide an opportunity for students to obtain a
practical industrial learning experience, the idea
is to expose them to the world of work such that
they appreciate the deviations from theory at the
ground level. -
The institute will organize an internship. However,
if students have specific requirements then they
would have to look for their own internships. -
The Institute reserves the right for choosing an
appropriate internship for the students. -
Students undergo formal training for searching for
internships as a part of their module, 'Personal
Skills Profiling and Placement Search.' Students are
encouraged to take initiative for identifying an
internship for themselves.
Business students participating in their programme
will have:

Sound business education background.

Good interpersonal skills.

Effective communication skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of
a team.

Extra-curricular interests.
Some of the BBA students (Sandwich Programme) are
also placed for the one year training abroad. An
