IIMT
is privileged that Radisson Hotel International,
U.S.A. Edwardian Group, U.K. who are the founding
promoters of IIMT have extended their patronage by
instituting scholarships. This is one more
manifestation of their commitment to providing
quality education in India.
Scholarships for Hotel Management Program
There
are several scholarships that have been sponsored by
Carlson Hospitality Worldwide, USA and the Edwardian
Group, UK. These scholarships are distributed to
students based on three categories listed below.
Category I
Financial Aid Amount
Rs. 1,00,000 over the duration of the programme
for those students scoring 70% to 79% marks in
class XII examinations.
Category II
Financial Aid Amount
Rs. 1,50,000 over the duration of the programme
for those students scoring 80% and above marks
in class XII examinations.
Category III
Merit Scholarship
Rs. 25,000 per taught semester is awarded as
merit scholarship to the student who scores the
highest mark with a minimum of 60% in a taught
semester.
Note:
1. Financial Aid is awarded on a
semester-to-semester basis and a student is expected
to maintain a minimum of 60% in each end-semester
examination. Failure to maintain 60% average will
result in the scholarships being withdrawn until the
student’s average once again exceeds 60%.
2. No scholarships or financial aid is awarded to
students during the internship year of the
programme.
3. Scholarships do not include Oxford Brookes
University registration fee, which needs to be paid
in full and directly to OBU.
4. A student can avail only one category of
scholarship or financial aid.
5. In order to be eligible for financial aid or
scholarship students should clear all the modules in
the first attempt.
Scholarships and Financial Aid for BBA
Financial Aid
To promote the entry of meritorious students in
the program, IIMT has instituted 10 merit based
scholarships to students who have achieved an
aggregate of 80 percent or more in their class
XII examination. These scholarships are given to
the students from the time of entry of the
program.
Eligibility
Aggregate of 80 percent or more in class XII
exam.
Aid Amount
Rs. 75,000 spared over the six taught semesters.
No scholarship is provided during the internship
year.
IIMT Merit Scholarship
Rs. 15,000 per taught semester is awarded as
merit scholarship to the student who scores the
highest marks with a minimum of 60% in a taught
semester. Combined merit of all the three BBA
programmes would be taken into account to decide
the merit scholarship.
Note:
1. Financial Aid is awarded on a semester to
semester basis and a student is expected to maintain
a minimum of 55% in their end-term examination.
Failure to maintain 55% average will result in the
scholarships being withdrawn until the student
average once again exceeds 55%.
2. No scholarships or financial aid is awarded to
students during the internship year of the
programme.
3. Scholarships do not include Oxford Brookes
University registration fee which needs to be paid
in full and directly to OBU.
