I am very proud that I have got an opportunity to spend the 4 most important years of my life at IIMT. These 4 years have been the most enriching years as I was provided with immense knowledge at every step during the course. I would like to thank my entire faculty for their contribution towards my development as a mature individual. The course at IIMT is structured so meticulously that it provides great learning curve to every individual. Today I am proud for being a student of IIMT as I never feel that I am alone in this pool of business world. I am enriched with enough education and understanding of the today’s competitive environment to survive for.

Currently I am working for Cushman & Wakefield India Pvt.Ltd in the Hospitality division as a graduate trainee. My job description lies in dealing with hospitality clients with reference to operative search, feasibility study and evaluation. I am also looking to be a part of research team in writing paper for hospitality. All this credit goes to my learning at IIMT.

Mandeep Singh (Batch 2004)

IIMT has not only nurtured me with the education and international exposure to the industry but also helped my transformation from a student into a balanced hotelier. First year of my course was my primary step towards growing when I was introduced to the hospitality sector. This was followed by my internship in the Radisson Edwardian Hotels based in London, UK. These 14 months of my internship changed me completely as a person as I got to know the practical meaning of being self dependent and responsible. My focus and necessary commitment to the new challenges I faced helped me achieve success via appreciation and rewards for instance I was lucky to be awarded as ‘the employee of the year’ in Radisson Edwardian.

Currently I am working as Management Trainee with hotel 'The Grand' New Delhi in the Human Resources department further specializing in the Training and Development division. Today, I take pride in being an IIMT student because of which I have been blessed with such a promising and enriching career. As an HR person I feel IIMT students are a complete package that any hotel or company would want to pick and work with.

Vijayendra Gaur (Batch 2002)

IIMT has developed me to become a leader. The rich diversity of teachers and students who work closely with each other helps in intellectual growth of the students and also development of greater entrepreneurial skills. The teaching methodology is contemporary which keeps the students and professors abreast with the ever-changing scenario in the educational and corporate arena.

Studying at IIMT has certainly made me a better and a much more matured and confident individual. It introduced me to the potential I possessed, which I had not been able to nurture till now. The internship, my very first exposure to the corporate world, has made me realize my own strengths and weaknesses and helped me better understand the importance of all that we were taught in our academic program.

Pooja Poplai (Batch 2004)

I completed the full time BSc (Hons) in Hotel and Restaurant Management in 2003; I can look back upon an ultimately rewarding experience. The course promised to cover a wide and varied range of subjects and in truth I started out a little bemused as to how I would cope, but the teaching style and friendly support of the tutors  made the whole experience extremely positive. The course introduced me to a wide range of Management issues, and I benefited from the exciting and varied teaching methods, including lectures, seminars, guest speakers, and one-to-one meetings. The most enjoyable, rewarding and challenging part of the year for me was the dissertation, as this allowed me to pursue a topic which I found particularly inspiring.

After working for 3 years in the hospitality industry in UK and India, currently I am pursuing MBA from one of the top universities in UK. I would like to once again appreciate the effort of institute and the faculty for giving us such a rewarding career.

Nakul Thakran (Batch 2000)

It has been wonderful experience at IIMT Gurgaon. Excellent faculty and structured modules gave me a chance to learn and grow in life. First year began with the study of basics, followed by internship.

In third year, I enhanced my knowledge with further modules like Revenue Management and Profit Analysis, Career Planning, Project, Strategic Marketing, Human Resource Management, Event Management etc. All together, it gave me a better outlook towards life and career.

I am working at Shangri-La Hotel, as Sales Executive, handling a complete portfolio of 120 companies on my own, standing at that level, where freshers don’t normally reach so easily. The confidence that IIMT has given me helps me in performing this new role.
